Deskspace available at the common Knowledge office
We have a desk available at the office of common Knowledge, a network of people who support the not-for-profit sector.
If you work in that sector or are an illustrator, campaigner, journalist or run a social enterprise – we could have just the set-up you’re looking for. We have an active, friendly and vibrant office of like-minded freelancers and small companies.
Mail address and reception. Industrial strength fast internet. Desk space full-time or shared by arrangement. Use of kitchen facilities.
How it works
We each pay £220 per month for a full-time desk or pro-rata for part-time. We have good relations with our landlord, the Young Foundation, and the other non-profit organisations in the building complex. The only way to get the feel of it is to visit us at 18 Victoria Park Square, London E2 9PF. We’d be delighted to meet you and show you the facilities. Desk holders can use the quiet room for meetings free up to an allocation and the Young Foundation has bigger rentable rooms as well.
Very close to the Central Line (Bethnal Green) and London Overground (Bethnal Green or Cambridge Heath) and Buses 8, 388, 106, 254, D3, D6. The building is the beautiful 17th century listed home of the Young Foundation surrounded by ancient plane trees behind Museum Gardens and the V&A Museum of Childhood. We occupy the first floor having a large room with desks and a quiet/training/meeting room.
